Durchlaufzeit (EN)
ConceptTime duration a process requires from start to finish
Definition
The throughput time is a central KPI in process mining that measures the time duration a process case requires from its beginning to its completion. It includes all active waiting and processing times and is an indicator of the efficiency and speed of a process. By analyzing the throughput time, bottlenecks can be identified, localized, and improvement potentials for accelerating the process can be uncovered.
