Energy networks, also called Smart Grids, are intelligent power grids characterized by bidirectional communication and decentralized energy producers such as photovoltaic systems. Smart meters and energy management systems enable efficient control of energy flow and integration of renewable energies. These networked systems require special security measures and robust infrastructures for reliable energy supply.
