HardwarePhysical device for VoIP communication
Hardphone
A hardphone is a physical telephone specifically designed for VoIP communication that works directly with an IP network connection. Unlike softphones, hardphones are standalone devices with their own hardware that often offer additional features such as multi-line displays, headset connections, and programmable buttons. Hardphones can be configured as extensions in a FreePBX system and are particularly suitable for offices and workspaces where a traditional telephone experience is desired.
