An employee conversation is a structured dialogue between a supervisor and employee that serves performance evaluation, goal setting, and personnel development. Unlike personnel recruitment, the employee conversation takes place within the ongoing care and development of employees. It serves to clarify expectations, identify development needs, and motivate staff.
